We put our team work skills into practise this afternoon for our final Grafham challenge: raft building and paddling.
Group A pedalled hard and cycled the full 9.5 miles around Grafham Water. There were up hills; there were downhills; the scenery was beautiful and the snack break greatly appreciated. We did it!
Whilst we waited for the heavy rain and winds to calm, we practised our archery skills in the sports hall. This was followed by a windy hour of fun with the power kites.
After a fantastic first afternoon of sailing on Wednesday, Group A’s challenge today was climbing. Sorry that there are no pictures of the sailing. Every child in group A had a super time on the water yesterday after a very heavy down pour – too wet for the iPad I’m afraid.
We climbed on the climbing wall inside and then on the high ropes outside. All children challenged themselves and grew in confidence and skill.
